I am an economist with research interests in health economics, labor economics, economic history, and economic demography. My latest work focuses on the causes and consequences of fertility decisions, and mental health.
I am an Assistant Professor at the Amsterdam School of Economics at the University of Amsterdam.
Before I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University's Center for Health and Wellbeing. I received my PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Tinbergen Institute. I am also a Research Affiliate at IZA .
